چکیده

Perhaps the most well known of the propert ies that characterize chaotic systems is their sensitivity to initial conditions. Two identical chaotic systems that are started from virtually identical initial condi t ions in a short time would be observed to diverge f rom one another . However, for chaotic systems one observes a very impor tan t phenomenon called chaot ic synchronization. This is a nonlinear phenomenon such that the behaviors of a subsystem are chaot ic but take the same values as those in another subsystem. Pecora and Caroll [1] proposed a method for synthesizing a nonlinear system with chaotic synchronizat ion in a so called master-slave configuration. The P C method is very simple and applied to many chaot ic systems [2, 3]. Chaot ic synchronizat ion is a very useful phenomenon in engineering and many secure communi cat ion methods using it are proposed [4, 5]. There, an information signal containing a message is t ransmitted using a chaotic signal as a b r o a d b a n d carrier, and the synchronization is necessary to recover the informat ion at the receiver. For example in [6, 7] the informat ion signal is added to the chaot ic signal and in [5] a parametr ic modula t ion is used for the t ransmission of digital signals.

Design and Simulation of Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference Based Controller for Chaotic Lorenz System

Chaos is a nonlinear behavior that shows chaotic and irregular responses to internal and external stimuli in dynamic systems. This behavior usually appears in systems that are highly sensitive to initial condition. In these systems, stabilization is a highly considerable tool for eliminating aberrant behaviors. In this paper, the problem of stabilization and tracking the chaos are investigated....

Introduction: Control and synchronization of chaos.

The hallmark of deterministic chaos, an extreme sensitivity to initial conditions, suggests that chaotic systems might be difficult if not impossible to control, since any perturbations used for control would grow exponentially in time. Indeed, this quite reasonable view was widely held until only a few years ago. Surprisingly, the basis for controlling chaos is provided by just this property, ...

Robust Adaptive Fuzzy Logic Approach in Controlling the Duffing’s Chaotic System

Chaos reveals a nonlinear behavior of chaotic system with the extreme sensitivity to initial conditions. Chaos adequately justify the complicated behavior of phenomena by presenting a very simple models comprises a limited equations which involve the deterministic, dynamical systems in continuous time space to present the copacetic approximation of real world. This is of particular relevance in...

Controlling Hyperchaos and Synchronization of an Uncertain Modified Hyperchaotic Lü System

This paper investigates the adaptive control and synchronization of an uncertain modified hyperchaotic Lü system recently discovered by Wang, Zhang, Zheng and Li (2006). This paper deploys nonlinear control for controlling the hyperchaos of the modified hyperchaotic Lü system with unknown parameters and then synchronizing two identical modified hyperchaotic Lü systems with unknown parameters. F...

Stochastic chaos synchronization using Unscented Kalman-Bucy Filter and sliding mode control

This paper presents an algorithm for synchronizing two different chaotic systems by using a combination of Unscented Kalman–Bucy Filter (UKBF) and sliding mode controller. It is assumed that the drive chaotic system is perturbed by white noise and shows stochastic chaotic behavior. In addition the output of the system does not contain the whole state variables of the system, and it is also affe...
